Sales and Office Administrator Location: Oxford, UK Closing date: Open until filled Reference: JF1-18 We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Sales and Office Administrator to support our busy sales and marketing office. You will be the first point of contact for customers around the world, carry out sales order processing, invoicing and credit control, as well as general office administration tasks, such as telephone reception and travel booking. In addition you will support all our marketing activities, including assisting in organising and executing marketing campaigns, organising international conference attendance and help to manage our website content. This includes working with our customer relationship management software to organise in- and out-bound communications as well as data handling and database maintenance. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, and have a strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including advanced MS Excel features as well as at least basic knowledge of website deployment including HTML. You will play a key role in the development of new immunological products and services and will be required to interact across teams internally and well as with external parties. The work will require the ability to fit in well as part of a team but also to work independently. You may also be involved with aspects of GxP regulatory compliance. Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular and cellular immunology and assay development. Experience in antibody engineering, protein-protein interaction and binding affinity measurements would be highly desirable. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Experience in supervising the work of others and managing suppliers would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, original thinking and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
