Customer Service Specialist, ImmunologyLocation: Oxford, UK High quality and expert customer service is at the core of our business strategy. As such, we are seeking a highly motivated and professional Customer Service Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team. Based in Oxford and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will provide front-line service and support, primarily to our customers worldwide. Responsibilities include:
You should be preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with at least 2 years of hands-on lab experience. You should be well-versed in cellular immunology techniques such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or ELISpot analysis. Prior experience in a customer service role (not necessarily science) would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. We would particularly like to hear from candidates with a strong science background who have a natural enthusiasm for customer relations and would like to explore an alternative scientific career. There may also be an opportunity to move into a full-time sales role at a later stage.
Laboratory Assistant (Cellular Services)Location: Oxford, UK We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our Cellular Services team. The successful candidate will be involved in carrying out our unique range of cellular assays involving flow cytometry, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISPOT analysis. Ideal candidates should be degree-qualified in Biochemistry or a similar biological science discipline, coupled with good hands-on experience in tissue culture. In addition preference will be given to applicants who have experience in cellular techniques such as flow cytometry, or protein analysis techniques such as ELISA. Prior experience of working to GCP regulatory standards would also be an advantage. You must have excellent organisation and time-management skills and an aptitude for quality and precision work. This position represents a good career opportunity for candidates who would like to gain experience in an industrial setting.
Research ScientistLocation: Oxford, UK We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Research Scientist to join our R&D team. You will play a key role in the development of new immunological products and services and will be required to interact across teams internally and well as with external parties. The work will require the ability to fit in well as part of a team but also to work independently. You may also be involved with aspects of GxP regulatory compliance. Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular and cellular immunology and assay development. Experience in protein-protein interaction and binding affinity measurements would be highly desirable. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Experience in supervising the work of others and managing suppliers would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, original thinking and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
